IFE Delights by Naz
I am a Turkish girl who has been living in Melbourne since 2012. I studied food science in my home country, but after moving to Australia, I discovered that I am more passionate about cooking itself than the technical aspects of it. I have mostly worked in baking and cake-making, but I have never stopped improving my skills in cooking as well.
During the COVID pandemic, I became pregnant and had my daughter. It was difficult for me to return to full-time work. That’s why I decided to work from home, but I had no idea where to start. And also organise everything was overwhelming with a little one to care for.
When I came across with the Women’s Micro Business Project , I decided to check it out and see how they could support me. The help I received from them exceeded all my expectations.
Thanks to their support, I registered my home kitchen with the Wyndham City Council in a very short time and started my own business, IFE Delights by Naz. My first catering customer was also the Women’s Micro Business Project for their Christmas party.

After receiving invaluable support from the Women’s Micro Business Project, Naz quickly registered her home kitchen with the Wyndham City Council and began serving clients, including her first catering customer, the Women’s Micro Business Project.

I first had a love for Cake Decorating in High school in the 90’s, completing a course after school. From there I continued my passion by creating cakes for family and friends!

Wyndham Threads commenced as a little capacity building activity, design to engage elders from the communities from Burma that struggled with social isolation and language barriers and possessed traditional weaving skills.

Wyndham Threads commenced as a little capacity building activity, design to engage elders from the communities from Burma that struggled with social isolation and language barriers and possessed traditional weaving skills. They weave cotton on traditional handmade looms, creating fabrics and patterns that represent their cultural ethnicity, as well as weave bamboo baskets. Their products are sold, and the funds are re-invested in the program to support their integration and social participation
